LETS CELEBRATE PRIESTHOOD SUNDAY! What is “Priesthood Sunday”? Priesthood Sunday is a special day set aside to honor the priesthood. It is a day to reflect upon and affirm the role of priesthood in the life of the Church as a central one. What happens on Priesthood Sunday? Pray for the vocation programs for the diocese – and for more people to be open to a call to the priesthood, the permanent and religious brothers and sisters. Personally thank your priest on Priesthood Sunday, or any day Send a thank you note or letter to your priest.
¡CELEBREMOS EL DOMINGO DEL SACERDOCIO! ¿Qué es el "Domingo del Sacerdocio"? El Domingo del Sacerdocio es un día especial dedicado a honrar el sacerdocio. Es un día para reflexionar y afirmar el papel central del sacerdocio en la vida de la Iglesia. ¿Qué sucede el Domingo del Sacerdocio? Oremos por los programas de vocaciones de la diócesis y para que más personas se abran al llamado al sacerdocio, tanto para los hermanos y hermanas permanentes como para los religiosos. Agradezca personalmente a su sacerdote el Domingo del Sacerdocio o cualquier otro día. Envíe una nota o carta de agradecimiento a su sacerdote.
COMING IN OCTOBER! Holy Trinity will have the opportunity to partake in three weeks of classes designed to strengthen our Married lives. Even if you are single, divorced, or widowed, we think that these opportunities to be with other Catholics will strengthen and enrich your life through sharing our different paths in this journey toward the Lord.
The classes will begin on Monday, October 13, at 6 PM in Holy Trinity’s small hall and will include a light supper beforehand.
The first week of classes will be on Matrimony and its place in the church.
The second week of classes will be the Sanctity of Marriage. Divorce and Annulments.
The Third week of classes will be about Cohabitation before marriage.

¡EN OCTUBRE! Holy Trinity tendrá la oportunidad de participar en tres semanas de clases diseñadas para fortalecer nuestra vida matrimonial. Incluso si eres soltero, divorciado o viudo, creemos que estas oportunidades de estar con otros católicos fortalecerán y enriquecerán tu vida al compartir nuestros diferentes caminos en este camino hacia el Señor.
Las clases comenzarán el lunes 13 de octubre a las 6 p. m. en el pequeño salón de Holy Trinity e incluirán una cena ligera previa.
La primera semana de clases se centrará en el matrimonio y su lugar en la iglesia.
La segunda semana de clases se centrará en la santidad del matrimonio, el divorcio y las anulaciones.
La tercera semana de clases se centrará en la cohabitación antes del matrimonio.

COATS FOR KIDS WINTER COAT DISTRIBUTION Is Saturday, Sept. 27th 2pm-4pm in the gym. Child must be present to try the coat on for size. No other requirements. More information may be found on line: kofcchapter@gmail.com There is also a schedule for other distribution locations on the bulletin board.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS BINGO The Knights of Columbus in Springfield are having a Bingo night at the Bingo Emporium on Sept. 26th in Springfield with proceeds going to the Coats for Kids project. Details are on the flyer on the bulletin board.

DANCE NIGHT FOR COUPLES On October 11th, Saturday after the 4 pm Mass doors open 6 pm there will be DANCE NIGHT FOR COUPLES 6:30-10:00pm, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Gym. The Bishop may speak. This will be after Confirmation reception. This is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. It is not a fundraiser: it is for Catholics to get together. MASS INTENTIONS Would you like to have a Mass intention for a loved one who has died or living? The Mass stipend is $10 dollars. You may put the name of the person on a note and let us know if they are living or deceased & which Mass time, and who is giving the Mass, put it in an envelope marked Masses along with the $10 stipend for each Mass and drop in the collection basket.
INTENCIONES ¿Le gustaría tener una intención de misa por un ser querido fallecido o que aún vive? El estipendio para la misa es de $10. Puede escribir el nombre de la persona en una nota, indicando si está viva o fallecida, la hora de la misa y quién la oficiará. Colóquela en un sobre con la inscripción "Misas" junto con el estipendio de $10 por cada misa y deposítela en la canasta de colectas.
