TRUNK OR TREAT Sacred Heart Youth presents Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 30th. If you would like to participate as one of the candy givers you need to contact Jimena the Youth Director 417-669-5688 to register your vehicle and time for the vehicles to be there and ready. You can decorate your trunk any way you like! Halloween theme (not too scary), Biblical, animal or even sports, etc.
TRUNK OR TREAT: Jóvenes del Sagrado Corazón presenta Trunk or Treat el jueves 30 de octubre. Si desea participar como donador de dulces, comuníquese con Jimena, la Directora de Jóvenes, al 417-669-5688 para registrar su vehículo y programar su llegada. ¡Puede decorar su baúl como desee! Puede ser con temática de Halloween (sin demasiado miedo), bíblica, de animales o incluso deportiva, etc.
BAKE SALE Fundraiser The VCCW will be holding a bake sale on November 2nd after mass. The proceeds will go towards the steeple project. Everyone is welcome.

VCCW: Our next meeting will be Wednesday, November 5 at 6:30pm in the parish hall. We will not have a December meeting, instead we will be gathering on Sunday, December 7th, for caroling, dinner, and gift exchange. Details to come.

BOOK OF THE DEAD PRAYERS The Church has a long tradition of remembering those who have died, to the love and mercy of God. We do this in a special way on the Feast of All Souls Day, and throughout November. During the month of November, a Book of the Names of the Dead will be located in back of the church. All Parishioners are welcome to write the names of those they wish to be remembered in this special book.
ORACIONES PARA EL LIBRO DE LOS DIFUNTOS. La Iglesia tiene una larga tradición de recordar a los difuntos, para el amor y la misericordia de Dios. Lo hacemos de manera especial en la Fiesta de los Fieles Difuntos y durante todo el mes de noviembre. Durante noviembre, habrá un Libro de los Nombres de los Difuntos en la parte trasera de la iglesia. Todos los feligreses pueden escribir los nombres de quienes desean recordar en este libro especial.

STEEPLE PROJECT Fundraising has begun to replace the steeple roof. Please refer to the letter and donation form located at the church entrance doors for more details. You will be receiving a letter in the mail also.

STRENGTHENING MARRIAGE CLASS Marriage Rectification meeting this Monday night, 6:00pm in the small hall, Fr. Timothy from the Diocese will be here to visit with people interested in learning about or starting the annulment process. Also, a short program on Co-habitation before marriage will be presented. Please let anyone who might be interested know about this opportunity.
