GOING AWAY POTLUCK There will be a Going Away Potluck for Sister Oralia today, Sunday June 22nd after the 5pm Mass. Please bring food to share (meat, side dish or dessert). Everyone is welcome.

CELEBRATION OF THE FEAST OF THE SACRED HEART June 27th is the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and we will have Mass at 6:00pm followed by a potluck dinner. Everyone is ask to bring a meat dish, side dish or a dessert to share with everyone.

ALTAR SERVER & LECTOR TRAINING There will be an opportunity to train to be an altar server or lector on Sunday, June 29th after the 8:00am Mass. To be and altar server you must have already had First Communion.

MASS SCHEDULE CHANGE Starting in July the Spanish Mass will move from Sunday evening to Saturday evening at 6:30pm. St. Lawrence Saturday Mass will be at 5:00pm.

DDF REPORT To date our parish has given $21,710 toward our $22,050 goal only $340 away from our goal! 28 donors toward our donor goal of 32. Thank you! If you have not yet made your pledge, please make a sacrifice, whatever the amount, in unity with those who have already given by returning a pledge card. We ask everyone to participate, as you are able. Across the diocese, as of June 17, 2024, $2,086,472 has been pledged toward the $3,100,000 goal. That is 67% of our goal The diocese thanks you for considering a gift to support diocesan ministries which support your parish, as well.

FAREWELL PARTY St. Lawrence will be holding a Farewell Going Away Party for Sr. Socorro and Sr. Oralia on June 29th, 11:00am – 3:00pm and all Sacred Heart parishioners are invited to attend.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) VBS is. July 7-11, 9:00-12:00. Program Friday night. Questions call Helen 489-0501. Food Donation for the VBS snacks we have 25 kids so far: Cheese balls, little bags of chips, grapes or fruit, cookies any kind, cheese cubes, juice boxes, Country Time lemonade mix, strawberries. Anything is appreciated. Thank you for your generosity and supporting VBS.

We almost hit our capacity of students last year so please make sure to turn in your forms as soon as possible. You can bring them to PSR, mail them to church, or give them to Jennifer.
