CHILI COOK OFF! Have you always wanted to showcase your spectacular winter chili and have people go "YUM!"? Do you have a secret family chili recipe that everyone raves about, but you've been too bashful to show off? Now is the time! So warm up that Crock-Pot, dust off that apron, and enter our January 31st Chili Dinner and Family Game Night Cook Off! Is just reading this making you hungry, but you couldn't cook a frozen dinner if it were already thawed? You're in Luck! The Chili Dinner and Family Game Night is for EVERYONE! The VCCW will provide beverages and condiments. This is a fundraiser, so don't forget your wallet! This event's proceeds go to fixing our church steeple! The Chili Dinner and Family Game Night begins at 5:00 in the parish hall! We can't wait to see you on the 31st! (See the sign-up sheet in the church entryway to enter the cook off!)

PRIESTLY DISCERNMENT RETREAT All Men ages 18-35 interested in learning more about seminary life are invited to register for the Priestly Discernment Retreat at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, the weekend of February 6-8, 2026. The retreat will focus on seminary formation, prayer, and discerning one’s call.
RETIRO DE DISCERNIMIENTO VOACIONAL SACERDOTAL: Se invita a todos los hombres de entre 18 y 35 años interesados en aprender más sobre la vida en el seminario a inscribirse en el Retiro de discernimiento vocacional sacerdotal que se llevará a cabo en el Seminario Kenrick-Glennon en San Luis, durante el fin de semana del 6 al 8 de febrero de 2026. El retiro se centrará en la formación seminarística, la oración y el discernimiento de la vocación.

We will meet on the 2nd Sunday evening of the month at the home of Mark and Brenda Conn. The time will be 6-8 PM. Snacks will be provided. The schedule will be: Opening prayer, a short video, discussion, and then games to follow. February meeting will be on Suffering, followed by games. You should bring three things to the gathering: an appetite, a thirst for learning and sharing attitude. Mark and Brenda live at 16001 Lawrence 1170, Aurora MO.
