ATTENTION ALL LADIES: VCCW will be Christmas Caroling on Sunday, December 7th. We will meet at 2:30 pm at church to go to Aurora Nursing Home and then Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett. We will then meet at Angus Branch at 5:00 pm for dinner and a white elephant gift exchange. If you can’t make it for caroling, feel free to join us for dinner. Atención mujeres: VCCW estará cantando canciones navideñas a los ancianos en los asilos el 7 de diciembre. OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CELEBRATION The celebration to honor our Lady of Guadalupe, Friday, 12th of December will start with Mañitas songs, the dance & the Holy Rosary at 5:00am afterwards there will coffee & chocolates in the hall and at 6:00pm Mass with dance with meal to follow in the hall.

POSADA: In preparation for Advent and Christmas we will pray the Rosary 9 days before Christmas, starting on Dec. 16th - 24 at 6:30pm in the church.

ANGEL TREE – The VCCW has set up an Angel tree to help adult residents of the Arc of the Ozarks. Please take an angel off the tree and purchase one or all the items on the angel. VCCW will be making memorial candles to be displayed in church during mass through the Christmas Season. For a donation of $10 you can purchase a candle personalized with a picture of your loved one or just their name. To purchase a candle please put $10 in an envelope labeled “VCCW candle” include your name and the name & picture of your loved one and place it in the collection basket. MARY’S BABY SHOWER Advent is a time of expectations. We wait for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Mary’s Baby Shower, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, gathers money for those women who are expecting a child, but are struggling with the monetary demands of prenatal care. All money collected will be given to the Tri County Pregnancy Resource Center to help with whatever needs arise. The Knights thank you for the support of this project and wish you a joyful Advent season.
BABY SHOWER DE MARIA El Adviento es un tiempo de esperanza. Esperamos el nacimiento de nuestro Salvador, Jesucristo. El Baby Shower de María, patrocinado por los Caballeros de Colón, recauda fondos para aquellas mujeres embarazadas que enfrentan dificultades económicas para cubrir los gastos de la atención prenatal. Todo el dinero recaudado se donará al Centro de Recursos para el Embarazo del Condado Tri para ayudar con cualquier necesidad que surja. Los Caballeros agradecen el apoyo a este proyecto y les desean un feliz Adviento.
STEEPLE PROJECT UPDATE Steeple fundraising total $29,971, comprised of $19451 beginning balance, $1020 VCCW bake sale, $7300 parishioners (9 donors), $2200 alumni (6 donors). In addition, once we raise 40% of the total ($48,000), there is a potential grant we could apply for that would give another $24,000 to the project.
