ANGEL TREE – The VCCW has set up an Angel tree to help adult residents of the Arc of the Ozarks. Please take an angel off the tree and purchase one or all the items on the angel. VCCW will be making memorial candles to be displayed in church during mass through the Christmas Season. For a donation of $10 you can purchase a candle personalized with a picture of your loved one or just their name. To purchase a candle please put $10 in an envelope labeled “VCCW candle” include your name and the name & picture of your loved one and place it in the collection basket. You can also email/text a picture of your loved one to Pam Conner/Kaal at pamelaconner1017@gmail.com or 417-669-2782. MARY’S BABY SHOWER Advent is a time of expectations. We wait for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Mary’s Baby Shower, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, gathers money for those women who are expecting a child, but are struggling with the monetary demands of prenatal care. All money collected will be given to the Tri County Pregnancy Resource Center to help with whatever needs arise. The Knights thank you for the support of this project and wish you a joyful Advent season.
BABY SHOWER DE MARIA El Adviento es un tiempo de esperanza. Esperamos el nacimiento de nuestro Salvador, Jesucristo. El Baby Shower de María, patrocinado por los Caballeros de Colón, recauda fondos para aquellas mujeres embarazadas que enfrentan dificultades económicas para cubrir los gastos de la atención prenatal. Todo el dinero recaudado se donará al Centro de Recursos para el Embarazo del Condado Tri para ayudar con cualquier necesidad que surja. Los Caballeros agradecen el apoyo a este proyecto y les desean un feliz Adviento.
STEEPLE PROJECT UPDATE Steeple fundraising total $49,971, comprised of $19,451 beginning balance, $1,020 VCCW bake sale, $20,000 pledge, $7,300, parishioners (9 donors), $2,200 alumni (6 donors). In addition, once we raise 40% of the total ($48,000), there is a potential grant we could apply for that would give another $24,000 to the project.
ACTUALIZACIÓN DEL PROYECTO DEL TORRE: La recaudación de fondos para el torreón asciende a $49,971, compuesta por un saldo inicial de $19,451, $1,020 de la venta de pasteles de VCCW, compromiso de 20.000 dólares, $7,300 de feligreses (9 donantes) y $2,200 de exalumnos (6 donantes). Además, una vez que alcancemos el 40% del total ($48,000), podríamos solicitar una subvención que aportaría otros $24,000 al proyecto.
