On August 15, 2026, we will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the foundation of our diocese (Aug. 24, 1956) during our first-ever Diocesan Eucharistic Congress to be held in the West Plains Civic Center. All people of the diocese are invited to participate in a year of spiritual preparation for these momentous celebrations. Let us entrust all these efforts and activities to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, so that we may be united in bringing the love and peace of Jesus to Southern Missouri.

SCHEDULE:
Doors open at 8:30 AM, and the first presentation begins at 10 AM. The day concludes at 6:30 PM after the Sunday Vigil Mass.
COST:
Registration- $10 per person or $25 maximum per family (parents with minor-age children).
The registration fee includes all Congress activities, speakers, materials, and a grab-n-go lunch.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Bishop Rice does not want cost to be the reason a person is unable to attend the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress. If you or your family need financial assistance, please get in touch with Linda Glendenning at (417) 866-0841 or LGlendenning@dioscg.org.
Note: In the arena, most seats are stadium-style, which means you'll have to climb some stairs. If you or your family have mobility issues that prevent you from climbing stairs, please email Brock Hulshof at bhulshof@dioscg.org to request a floor seat. Seating on the floor is minimal, so please reserve a floor seat only if it is absolutely necessary, to ensure we have enough seats available for those who can't climb stairs.

*Note: When parents sign up their children for the “Children’s Track” or “Teen Track,” their children will attend age appropriate presentations in a separate room during the time that morning and afternoon keynote presentations are taking place in the arena. However, parents may choose to keep children or teens in the arena with them for any particular keynote session if desired.
